Hi self,

This is the day that you ran 5 miles continuously and ... SAW THE PHANTOM TURKEY! It crossed the road when you were running the first .5 miles. It went into the forest and you followed it several feet into the trail. Your roommate was smiling and nodding and pointing in the turkey's general direction because she has seen it a kazillion times and you have yet to see it - until now.

During your run, a crazy man ran next to you, his pot belly giggling for the 10 steps he could keep up. In return you gave him a thumbs up and a smile and kept on. Apparently he did the same to your roommate who was a few steps behind you.

Near the Tridge, a tall, gorgeous, dark haired white boy in an orange shirt ran by you. He was running like a little school boy which your roommate says is how runners run... You thought that he looked pretty ridiculous with this flailing arms.

At the end of your run, when you decided to go the extra mile, a short family was walking their puppy. It was brown, probably female, and cute.
